TWP is a charitable organization honoring the life of Nick Walker Peters who battled cancer for 7 years, through 2 relapses and a bone marrow transplant which took him to Houston, away from his family for 7 months.  Nick lost his earthly battle at age 17.  Through most of his battle, he found light, inspiration, and humor in most situations.  He enjoyed making others laugh and had a generous, kind spirit.  His fight, his determination, and “heart of gold” inspires us to encourage others to #livelikeNick.

TWP is a Christian organization that works to raise awareness, support research and provide for the emotional, spiritual, and financial needs of patients and families affected by childhood cancer in the Rio Grande Valley.
